Hiring a doula is an big decision and it's important to find a doula that you connect with. I offer a free consultation so that you and your partner can get to know me, ask questions about my services, and ultimately decide if we are a good fit for each other!
Doula support in the prenatal period includes an initial meet & greet with you and your partner, two prenatal in-person sessions, and unlimited call and text. This usually begins around week 26 of pregnancy.
Doula support during labor begins during early signs of labor and continues until at least one hour after baby is born.
This includes in-person visits within the first few days of birth and again around two weeks postpartum, offering space to process the birth experience, receive breastfeeding guidance, and get help with small household tasks like laundry and dishes.
As my client, you'll have access to educational resources, downloadable birth plan templates, a curated list of local resources, and thoughtfully selected product recommendations.
I offer nesting support to help you create a calm, nurturing space and mindset as you prepare for your baby’s arrival.
Bathroom + bedroom refresh and organization in addition to tips for preparing your spaces for baby's arrival. I provide guidance on items to have on hand for the postpartum season, breastfeeding & pumping supplies, and help with laundry.
Herbal perennial pads that can be stored in the freezer until after baby is born.
If you are having a homebirth, I will help you set up your birthing room and go through your supplies checklist to make sure everything is in it's place prior to the big day.
I will provide guidance on essentials to pack in your hospital bag and check that task off of your list.
A postpartum ceremony honors the transition into motherhood, providing emotional, physical, and spiritual support during recovery. This includes birth story support, yoni steaming, herbal bath, help with household tasks, and a homecooked meal.
Yoni steaming can be a gentle and supportive practice for postpartum healing, offering both physical and emotional benefits. This ancient ritual involves sitting over warm, herb-infused steam to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, and encourage the body’s natural cleansing process. Herbs like calendula, mug wort, and motherwort can help tone the uterus, support tissue repair, and aid in the release of lochia. The warmth also soothes perineal discomfort and can provide a moment of deep relaxation, which is especially valuable for new mothers adjusting to postpartum life. Beyond the physical benefits, yoni steaming can create a mindful space for self-care, helping women reconnect with their bodies and find a sense of balance after childbirth .
With their blend of relaxation and restorative benefits, postpartum herbal baths are a simple yet powerful way to nurture both body and mind in the early days of recovery. Infused with soothing herbs like calendula, lavender, chamomile, and comfrey, these baths can help reduce inflammation, promote tissue repair, and provide gentle relief for soreness or perineal discomfort. The warm water and aromatic herbs create a calming experience, easing stress and encouraging much-needed moments of self-care.
These herbal soaks can aid in preventing infections, improving circulation, and even soothing the baby if included in the bath.
Early post partum days can be an adjustment and it's important for families to get the rest and recharge they need. I offer daytime support to help you get the rest you need and allow you to have quality time with your partner.
To allow you time to rest, I will hold your baby, get them down for a nap, and tend to them while you recharge.
Assisting with household tasks such as laundry, dishes, tidying up and even preparing a meal for your family.
Caring for your other children to allow you time to bond with your baby and rest after birth.
